Hydro-electric plant employee

The wave-powered hydroelectric plant is fully autonomous, so there is no need for any employees. There is, however, still a need to have build-up cleaned off periodically with a high-pressure hose to ensure smooth operation. The department of alternative maintenance networks (DAMN) hired a single employee to maintain the entire facility, a washed up ex-artist named Ben. At first he was paid, but when DAMN discovered that he had OCD and compulsively had to clean everything daily, they decided it would be cheaper to sever his pay. Since he no longer has income, Ben now lives off of dead jellyfish and barnacles which he finds when cleaning.
