My story goes...In the year 2050 it will be so that they will be and little digital clocks will implanted within our skin. Tardiness is no longer tolerated and major businesses will have control over that, even what you do with your time. If you are late to work, all your boss has to do is push a little button and ZAP you're charged with high voltage electricity as a penalty. No more sleeping in my friends.
